Walked into Gordon Chevrolet (Ford Rd., Garden City Michigan) to discuss some minor body work. Discovered they have not only a certified Corvette Body Technician, but the Service Department has TWO of Michigan's forty World Class Technicians. ![]() But oddly, no notices of either for people to see. I had to ask.

My "world class tech" left my 89 ncrs top flight winner with oil leaks after doing a fuel injector change. BTW,, the car has never leaked in the 10 yrs I've owned it. So world class dont mean anything to me,,, just they are human too,,, remember that... rj

| Master Technician | Most dealerships won't publicly display the achievements of the technicians in a public place other than licenses. If they did, some customers would see John Smith has a fistfull of certifications and figure that he's the only one there who knows what they're doing and insist that John Smith is the only one who works on their car. Which of course would overload one guy and have some guys just standing in their empty stall.

That makes sense, but at $125 an hour, I want the top guy--every time. The others, they can charge me less.

So, they didnt stand behind their work ?????? To do an injector change they would not have to open the engine, other than removing the plenum, so I am a bit confused. They didnt work with you on the oil leak????? I would be very interested in more details. Because we are all human and we all make mistakes, I can speak to that first hand. But usually, we stand behind every move we make and if we make a mistake, we make it RIGHT!! Allthebest, c4c5
