|  oil pan hi c4c5 i took my 08 z51 6m to the dealer for an oil leak thay told me it was a leaking oil pan and thay need to order a new one thats ok with me its free but cant thay just tighten the one i have on the car? let me know what you think thanks kraz | ||||||||||||||||||||

HI there, They are replacing the entire oil pan ????? I cannot really speculate on that one. You could have porosity of the casting itself. As long as they are serving you well, I would not be concerned. Allthebest, c4c5 | ||||||||||||||||||||

| oil leak fixed
hi all my oil pan bolts came loose so i was leaking some oil so the dealer put a new gasket on and all is good kraz

| oil pan leak
The local chevy dealer is replacing the oil pan gasket on my 08 with 15k miles. The gasket looked wet. No real leak. I'll let you know how it turns out when I pick it up.
