CM Getting 0xygen sensor codes

Also today my car started throwing engine codes its a 98 c5 codes are p0135, p0141,p0155

Only thing i have changed in my car besides the ac compressor is the thermostat. My friend, also a corvette owner, convinced me to go with a colder thermostat (160). I'm not sure if this would cause it.

HI there,

#1, the colder thermostat does nothing but deposit more carbon inside your engine, put the stock one back in.

#2, your codes are all for the heater systems of your o2 sensors, so I would check your fuse for these and see if it is blown.

Its labeled OXYSEN and is located at the underhood fuse block.

I would also put the stock T-stat back in the car.

The engine is designed to run best at its certain normal temp 190 degrees. I've seen 230 degrees in mine before and its normal and fine. LS engines run hot on a temp gauge and this is normal.

Now go play with your tools!

HI there,

You would be looking for a short circuit to a ground source, creating your condition.

Personally, start with the sensors themselves.

Do a resistance check of the heater circuits of all 4 sensors to see if any ONE is different from the other 3.
