CM 2 issues with the Z

First.. driving my 2004 z06 yesterday, went into grocery store and when I came out and started driving "active handling warming up" came on. I thought this was just for the older c5vettes. also this morning when I started car "something about the charging system came up on the DIC for a second, checked volts on the dic and it was perfect. any suggestions?

Active handling warm up is 100% normal, it does not happen all the time. Depends how you cut the wheels & how you park & how you steer out of a park spot.

For the other, need more info than that, check your codes & post here.

I've seen the charging sys. message once, very briefly. I've not had any problems. Like froggy said, the other is normal at times.

just clear the codes after posting them and see if they come back

mine's done both of those every 4-5 times over the 12 years I've owned it
not really an issue normally

Hi there,

The key is that you started the car and the charging system was seeing low voltage.

If your battery terminals are tight and clean, you may have a weak battery that should be checked and tested.

As for the active handling, that is normal and can be disregarded as long as it doesnt happen every single time you start the car.

Allthebest, c4c5
