Having a problem closing fuel door. Can the solenoid repaired so the latch will pop back out? I have to move mine by hand using the manual cable in the trunk.

HI there, You can try to spray it down with a little WD40, but otherwise, you will have to replace the actuator with the latch. It all comes as one assembly. Allthebest, c4c5 |

Remove the actuator and take it apart. All it needs is a 1/4 " spring placed inside. Have done 3 to date. You can buy an assortment of springs in Home Depot for $6. It's not brain surgery. Or, you can spent close to $100 at your local Chevy dealer.
