Hi, I have read all the service manual for C5, but I don't have understand where is the fill hole on the gearbox. Can someone help me? This is a 2000 coupe with M30/4L60E gearbox. I have understand this I need a pump for refill, but where is the fill hole? Some photos? | ||||||||||||||||||||

Hi there, No, its a bit more than that. You have to have the fluid temperature between 30-50 degrees C. You can reference this on the DIC. The picture below shows the location of the plug and its 22mm in size. Fill the transmission as much as you can before you start the vehicle. Then, start and add till the fluid runs out of the hole. Place the plug back in, move the shifter through all the gear ranges while running and then put back in park. Add more fluid so that it drips out of the hole and watch for the temperature to reach the 30-50 C mark. Add more fluid till it drips out and then you are done. Install the plug and torque to 30 nm .
