CM Blown diff autox event

My friend from AZ was at a Vette only (higher speeds & more straights) event a week ago & got to axle hopping on the 1/2 shift & stayed in too long & his diff is whining (speed related) in all gears.

It's driveable but he is quite sure it's the diff.

He wants to upgrade it a bit with a built diff, same ratio.

Any suggestions/comments?

:)

Hi there,

Nope, I would suggest correct bearings and seals from GM.

The wheel hop probably blew out a bearing.

Allthebest, c4c5

If it's worse than Paul thinks, I replaced both my diff and tranny with remans from Rockland Standard Gear (800 227 1523) and have been very pleased.
