Good evening, I noticed over the weekend that both of these lights were not coming on when I opened the doors or manually turned them on. The bulbs are relatively new (replaced both last Fall with new LED bulbs). The visor vanity mirror lights are working as are all the other lights on and around the dash and under the hood. Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks Al

I had the same problem with my 1999 C5 coupe. Remove the mirror, unplug the connector on the back of the mirror, then plug the connector in again - seating it firmly. Reinstall the mirror. I replaced the bulbs in my mirror, only to find the new ones didn't work. When I reseated the connector, they worked fine. Good luck.

Before I break something...to remove the review mirror you simply pull it off of the mounting bracket on the windshield right? Thanks for the info

Sort of.. Loosen the set screw (T-15 or T-20) then slide the mirror upward, off of the windshield mounted bracket. Don't try to pull it off. Unplugging the connector on the rear was much easier after removing the mirror. To reinstall the mirror, hold the bracket above the windshield mounted braket and it "slides on". Tighten the set screw. Good luck.

If I remember correctly, there is a very small tab that has to be depressed (toward the center of the plug), then you can pull out the connector. Good luck.
