c4c5,

What are your thoughts on going with the LS9 set up? Worth the extra expense for more durability/lolngevity?

I don't do burn outs, but will drive it in the upper RPM range periodically. Thats why the original question about the burning clutch smell after hard driving. I can't stomach the thought of replacing the clutch/flywheel and related parts and then having the car stink like burning clutch after a few high rpm runs. I operate the clutch properly...

Thanks for the feedback...

HI there,

The LS9 clutch will not bolt up to your crankshaft. You will have to get a custom made flywheel to make it work. The bolt pattern is different.

Im not sure the "driving in the upper RPM range" will create a smoking clutch. I am all over LS7s and I have not seen alot of smoke or burning.

Maybe I would check the hydraulics when you do the clutch at the same time.

Allthebest, c4c5

You'll find it at CAC. I have to believe that car still smells of clutch inside.
