|  '01 rubber smell from engine compartment.
Well I just purchased a 2001 vert. As I drove it from the delivery truck to home (about 1/2 mile) I noticed a hot rubber smell coming in from under hood and then outside when I stopped. I looked under the hood and noticed nothing against the headers or exhaust. Anyone experience this. The vehicle has a little over 16,000 miles. Thanks for any ideas. | ||||||||||||||||||||

Check under the car in the front air intake area and around the cats/exhaust. Those areas can collect trash. It's worth a look.
