I have a bone stock 84 4+3 coupe. There is someone advertising that they bore out the stock throttle bodies, found on the crossfire engine. I worked for a Porsche Audi dealer, and boring a Porsche throttle body usually caused a lack of torque on take off, but a better top end. Usually it took cam changes to make the car streetable again. I have a set of throttle bodies from a crossfire police cruiser, that I could have worked over, if it comes to that. We have to pass an emission test, where I live, so a cam change is probably not something that is in the cards.....Thanks

You have emissions tests on a 27 year-old vehicle? Michigan used to have tests, but after ten years, nada. | ||||||||||||||||||||

HI there, Your very accurate. Especially on crossfire, the torque will be lessened and also throttle response would be lower as well. The key will be the changes that are made to the rest of the engine. Allthebest, c4c5 |
