hi, i have a 77 corvette and having some issues with my rear end. I had the diff rebuilt, rear trailing arms rebuilt, wheelbearings rebuilt with tolerances. new shocks, new universals. The issue i am having is when moving slowly and turning the wheel i have a banging noise in the rear end. not just a noise but its like the whole car gets bumped sideways a bit, like its shunted sideways. Now i live in Brisbane, Australia so no mechanics have ever seen this stuff and have no idea, so i am pretty much forced to do it myself with some friends mechanic shop. any thoughts? Oh Also i have added the special GM diff lube, Any ideas or help with this would be wonderful | ||||||||||||||||||||

HI there, It sounds like there is something binding and then releasing in the driveline. How are the mounts for the differential to the frame ????? How is the transmission mount ????? Allthebest, c4c5 |
