All brake components, except lines and master cylinder, have been replaced. Last change was to replaced rear shoes and now brakes do not grab. However, I'm unable to get a full pedal. Pedal goes to the floor as car stops. Pumping up the pedal will give a firmer pedal but nothing like it should be. Guess simply I haven't gotten all the air out of the system. Will probably replace master cylinder but must sent it off to have it sleeved. Don't want to install a 64/65 MC as cap is different. Am attempting to keep car as close as possible to stock. Ed

Hi there, A pressure bleeding is probably your next course of action. That will FORCE the air out of the system. Allthebest, c4c5 |
