Read a story about a '57 Corvette. Does the term "airbox" refer to a inner fender mounted air box providing cool air to carbed and fuel injected 283s? Thanks, Ed

| you got it. the 57 FI tin cars also had a cold air system that picked up fresh air from a duct that was above the core support. you can tell true FI tin cars by the notch in the hood reinforcement to clear the duct
