My DIC is blank, shows not one bit of data. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad, but now my active handling/traction control and ABS are sometimes working, sometimes not. Interestingly, sometimes ABS will be working while TC and AH are disabled. 2001 Z06. Any suggestions would be welcome.

HI there, Unfortunately, I would start with a scan of all the modules using a Tech 2. If you cannot get a display out of the IPC, then you cannot do a code check with the cluster. Allthebest, c4c5 |

This is really low tech suggestion, but does that seem like some main power connection to the dic is loose/unplugged? :)

I don't know, but I'll probably look for something like that before I start throwing money at it. I did have the console off just before I noticed the DIC problem.

I'm guessing you tried this but figured I'd throw it out there. Good luck

I tried pushing as many button combinations that I could think of, but I'm sure there are more.

This has taken a while, but I removed the console and lower dash to check the wires, and I did find a square connector with 4 wires (green, orange, purple and black) that was not plugged into anything, but I haven't been able to locate what it might have been plugged into. I did discover why my cigarette lighter wasn't working: a blown fuse and the connector may have been disconnected. I may have fixed the active handling/ABS problem. I cleaned the two grounds on the frame. Now it usually starts normally. Any guesses as to whether or not that four wire connector is related to the DIC?

I there, Nope, take a pic of the connector, as I do not know. there is NO 4 wire connection to the cluster. Allthebest, c4c5 |

OK, thanks. I'm on a trip and can't take the picture at the moment.
