CM Rear spindle and bearing

I have a couple of questions about an 85 4+3 coupe I'm working on.
1. I'm replacing the rear bearing assemblies. Is it proper protocol to grease the spindle where it goes into the bearing? There is quite a bit of grease in the one I'm replacing. If so what type of lubricant should I use?
2. Is there a drain plug for the rear differential in the 85?
3. Is 80-90W GL5 the correct oil for the rear diff? Should a posi additive be used?

A limited answer: Yes, there is a diff drain plug and yes slip additive is needed.

1. I usually put a little anti-sieze on the spindle splines before putting it together. Just a light coat to keep the rust away.

Make sure you torque the axle nut to the reccomended reading.
And check it after a week of driving.
