Lets start with I have a 99 coupe Auto with about 72000 miles. last sunday I noticed the passenger window wouldnt roll down, didn't think to much about it but later in the day while driving I got a reduced engine power displayed on the DIC(although I didn't notice any change in the power)then the traction control turned off then the radio stopped working, the ac stopped working, gas gage, oil pressure gage and the temp gage had no reading and drivers side window didn't work. I thought I had something major wrong although car seem to be running normal. Pull off the road and checked codes, seem like every possible code was thrown. 33 in all(see attachment for actual codes. HI there, You had a communications failure in the system. This basically tells you that one or more of the modules stopped talking which caused the others to not interpret information. You should be looking at the door jamb connections to see if there are any spread apart terminals. Allthebest, c4c5 |

It does appear to be a connection as I was able to repeat the error and I Jiggled the wire running in the boot in the door jam and everything started working again. Do I replace the cable or do I have to find the exact problem wire?

Pull off the accordion and you'll see 2 harness connectors. Just look at each wire and make sure they are seated tight.
