CM Wierd display center

I have an '07 that the DIC is set to show the odometer. While driving in sport mode the display flashes to the numbers 123456 with the number highlighted depending on what gear I'm in. Then the odometer reading flashes back. I have taken it to the dealer with the standard reply 'we are unable to reproduce issue'. Yeah. Attached is a photo of what the display looks like. Can anybody give me a suggestion as to what is wrong? This has not happened previously. Car has 66400 miles. Thanks!!!!

Is your arm/elbow hitting the button inadvertantly?

No. The second time it happened I took a look around to see if I was slouching on anything. Nothing. Nada. I probably should mention I had an issue with the seat/mirror, steering wheel set button. When I hit the button, my radio would go off. UGH.

c4c5 - no it does not stay there after shifting out of S. The strange thing is that it switches from the odometer reading to the 123456 reading without being prompted. One second it is odometer reading the next it is 123456. I tried both up shifting and down shifting to see if the display changes and it does NOT. It just doesn't make sense.
