CM Driver side seat not going forward

I replaced the seat track with motors, thinking the motor might be the problem, but the seat still will not go forward. Maybe it is the switch? Is there a way to bypass the switch to see if that is the problem? 2002 z06

Ouch! Talk about an expensive guess! You should have properly trouble-shot that one out first!

Check fuse #4 (10A) in the floor board of the passenger's side fuse box. Also, make sure that you plugged in the motor that controls the forward and back movement. That would be the motor with a #7 on it in this picture.

This next picture shows where the plug is. The #7 is not on the motor in this picture because these are the old tracks that I was replacing.

actually, I had to replace the track anyway, because the cast piece that the bar rotates in was broken, but the motor will move back, just not forward. (on both brackets) I'll check the fuse. Thanks for the info

Yep, that's exactly why I had to replace mine. Well if it moves backward, then it ain't the track or the fuse. You've got a break somewhere else, possibly the rearward seat relay or the seat adjuster switch. You're going to have to chase that light-green wire coming out of the motor or the brown wire coming out of the adjustment switch. It would help to have a second person working the switch as you probe the line for continuity. Here's the schematic, which will help you trouble-shoot the issue. Your problem will be somewhere within this schematic.

Could be the fwd/back switch. Try taking the sw apart or jump the sw wires to get fwd/back power. On my 04 I have the memory seat that automatically moves the seat, check that also if you have it on yours. Memory seat plus manual seat movement should both work.

I also had to put a new adjuster in at about 35k miles, pretty bad quality part.
