have a 2006 ,m6 have a poping noise when turning right and left,just replaced rear end fluid last year ????????? does anyone have an ideal where to start looking !!!!!!!!!!!! thank you for your help saturday found drivers side spindle loose tightend up to 150 ft lb's changed differential oil took and made some figher 8's still poping got home raised up rear end car made a loud poping noise, nut on spindle would not tighen up what to do next any help would you can give would help me very much thanks ahead four your help ron41 |

HI there, I would be looking at a different area creating the condition. Truth is, it sounds suspension related. Otherwise, you may have to use a chassis ears to isolate the noises. Allthebest, c4c5 |

thanks for the reply but no i have not had any work done on the car at all it just started four days ago and is getting louder have stoped driving it till i find out the trouble thanking you very much for your help ron41 |

ron41~ Be sure you check the axle nuts- both sides. Normally, it's the passengerside that loosens up. Since you're there, you might as well check the wheel lugnuts. (100ft.lbs. only.) If you have a chance to get underneath your car, please check the rear swaybar mounting bolts and also the end links for fastness/breakage. (I forgot the torque values but want to say 57 or 75ft.lbs. ) | ||||||||||||||||||||

well the popping noise left as fast as it came i changed the rear end oil, wen't to the parking lot and done some figure 8' two days in a roll and the popping noise was gone thanks for the help you guy's are the greatest |
