CM 1998 corvette will not start

OK Let me say my car will not start and I posted this also most a month ago. It it still sitting in the gararge. The condidtion is that when you turn the key to start there is no click from the selonoid and the starter does not turn and the lights do not dim. In the last month I have become intimately familar with the car by replacing the battery, ign switch, starter relay, park/nuetral switch and the starter with the seloniod. I think the problem is in the security system but I am about to give up and have it towed to the dealer. Anyone else have this happen. Any thoughts before I throw in the towel. At this point I think I may have to give up but I really want to fix this myself.

What codes are stored in the DIC? C5Forum - Obtaining Vehicle Codes from the DIC Please post them all and the modules you find them.

FWIW, if you wrote this before it somehow didn't get posted. Your previous post was from 9/1/2009.

OK, finally after 5 weeks got this thing solved! After replacing the ign switch, park/neutral switch, starter relay and starter and Battery the car would still not start. I heard clicking sounds coming from the ecm in the passenger footwell. Before I gave up and had the car towed to the dealer I cleaned all the ground connedtions in the engine compartment. I did 4 of them, two on each side. I held the key in the start position for a few seconds and wa la! It started. Now there is no delay and it starts right up quickly every time. I guess I had the dreaded ground/rust situiation. What do you think?

I doubt it, but there is no way to know for sure. You should not have to hold the key on for a few seconds to get the vehicle to start. What were the stored codes in the PCM?
