I just purchased a JWM Front splitter from a member off here last week. Fast forward to today, I'm driving down the road on my way to work and there is a big chunk of 18 wheeler shredded tire in the middle of the road on the F'N Freeway. The car in front of me swerved and by the time I could react, BAM!!! This F'N tire cracked my front splitter right down the middle, then it went under the splitter and was jammed up in my pullies. It wiped out my AC belt and the belt became jammed behind the crank pulley. No I'm throwing a 1214 code that won't go away. WTF!. I'm at work now, but I had some shears in my trunk and I had to cut the A/C belt off.

How do I make this 1214 code go away?

Here's what the GM manual says.

I've no experience with this code but try and stop by a place that will turn off the light with a scan tool for free and see if it comes back. If it does, then I suppose there is an issue.

Sorry for your luck, I've been there before but not in my Vette.

That sounds like the code I got when my EBCM (Electronic Brake control module) went bad. It's in front of the engine, drivers side. I wonder if the tire damaged the harness or the connectors that plug into it.
