CM service traction control and abs

Hi guys,

I have a 08 z06. I am having all sorts of code thrown at me right now. The car shows "Service Traction Code" and "Service Electrical System" after i drive it around for a bit "Service ABS" will show up.

I already changed out all 4 of the wheel sensors on the car and put a new battery in and it is still doing the same thing. When I slam on the brake and ABS engages and if I don't let go of the brake pedal it will lock up my tires and I loss ABS until I restart my car.

The codes are

c0299 c0221 c0561 c0240 c0550 c0281 c0050 c0045 c0040.

My car has a modified LS7with Brembo GT brakes running 19 front and 20 in the back. Could the biggerrims? I tracked with thissetup beforeand It worked fine until I modded my engine.

I have been catching this problem for months now and frankly I'm considering removing the ABS completelybecauseI havealwaystracked with open wheel cars with no ABS at all. Is there anyway to remove it? And if I remove it will ActiveHandleSystem cut in when I'm on the track?

Update: Now it will sayservice ABS and AH on start up sometimes as well..............wtf

Been 5 months chasing this problem

HI there,

This was my response to your PM that you sent me yesterday, did you get it ???

If it all worked fine until the engine was done, thats most likely the issue.

The key to any diagnostics is to go to where the LAST PERSON was.

Also, if you have stainless steel brake lines, that will cause ALOT of what you are seeing here.

Me personally, I would start from square one, but you NEVER EVER want to remove the ABS as it will create MANY issues with the other control modules and render your car useless.

Allthebest, c4c5
