I have a front engine oil leak. Have already replaced lower oil pan gasket we thought was leak, NOT. Will replace upper oil pan gasket Monday. Dye test is sort of inconclusive as it sprays around a lot. Only happens under high RPM use, zero leak under normal street use. The front main seal & upper parts of front cover do not show leakage, suspect bottom of front cover to upper oil pan area. QUESTION: Would it hurt/help to add a thin layer ot RIGHT STUFF or other sealant to the upper oil pan gasket when we do this? As you tech guys know, most of the front suspension/spring has to drop to do this gasket. Thanks! | ||||||||||||||||||||
