CM 2004 C5 Coupe - Window Replacement

I have to replace my Driver side glass on my 04.
If I just undo the clamps and remove / replace the window will i have to go through the window tip-in adjustment to make it seal tight against the weather stripping or being I'm not unbolting anything else I won't have to ?

I don't think you would but you never know depending on the glass manf.

I would also take a Sharpie marker or one like it and trace both clamp outlines on the old window before removal. Then place the old window on top of the new and mark the new, that way you get it in the same position or within a mm or two. Possibly use some tape to mark as an alternative.

I did this to my passenger side window that was not a GM piece of glass, but I found a GM piece of glass and replaced it when I got my car. I don't remember doing the tip in adjustment, but this was also back in 2004.

Now go play with your tools!

Excellent SG Lou! I knew it had been awhile since I did mine and was almost positive no tip in was needed. Glad it went smoothly for you.
