Angry Side view mirror issues

A few years ago the drivers side mirror tension mechanism broke on our 98 and the mirror flopped around.
I was told they can't be repaired, so I purchased a new one, had to have it painted, pulled the door panel replaced the mirror, problem solved.
Now the passenger side mirror has broken.
I could see if I folded them in all of the time but I never touch them.
Is this a common problem?
Is there a way to repair these or is there someone out there who performs this service?
Any help is appreciated.

Hey Junkman,
When I click on the link for mirror repairs it redirects to another website. Do you have other contact info for this guy?
The car's been under wraps all summer and I may finally get some time to take care of this issue soon.
Looking at options and this is one of them.
Thanks.

That's where you can contact Ed to send him your mirror. Read the page and you will see the link for the C5 mirror repair. That's how you contact him.

Thanks Junkman. I wasn't getting this website.
At work, I was getting redirected to a webpage that hosts a webpage.
I guess it was a filtering or security issue.
Now that I'm on my own pc I got it!

LOL! They're not trying hard enough, but then again they trust me to spend quite a bit of theirs.
