CM Borla Cross Pipe

I have Borla Stingers on a '04 C5 Z06, rowdy, love them. Rest of exhaust stock. I'm thinking about swapping the X-pipe for a Borla X-pipe. How difficult and what will be the result; different sound, better, worse, any difference in performance, response? What do you think? Is this a diy job, I know it requires cutting and, though "OK" with a wrench, cutting..............makes me a little shaky.

Interested in your input.

I replaced my OEM H pipe with a Borla X pipe because I had Stingers, but the reason that I replaced it was because of a broken H pipe flange that broke the weld twice. No difference in sound or performance though, just no air leak at the flange weld. They can be frustrating to install, a hoist is a very good idea. If your H pipe is in good condition I would leave it on, it is a good unit. Good luck either way.
