CM Bowling Green - Late August

I'm planning to visit the Bowling Green plant in late August or early September and am looking for some information.

Can anyone give me advise on things to do in the area, best reasonably priced hotels and restaurants. I'll be coming down Route 65 from the Chicago area.

Looking for "things to do" near the plant and during the trip down.

Thanks

The Hampton and the Baymont hotels are just off exit 22 on Three Springs Rd. Breakfast at Bob Evans Restaurant is within walking distance of either hotel. Lots of great restaurants on Scottsville Rd. like Montana's and Rafferty's.

Be sure to see the Corvette Museum and take the Assembly Plant tour. Both are just off Exit 28.

The Maker's Mark Distillery is near Loretto, KY and is a great drive thru some Corvette friendly back roads past Lincoln's boyhood home. Great scenery!

We'll be there 9/14-18 for the Z06Fest. PM me if you need more info.
