CM Hillbilly Homelink install

No disrespect to hillbillys btw - hope this is posted in the right place

My first post - hello from Canada - Cambridge Ontario

This install cost me about $20 - for wire and a used homelink out of a 95 Infiniti. I like this location a lot better than the visor given the flimsy quality of the C5 visor. The good news is it works perfectly and does not interfere with anything, Bad news is the range is only about 60 ft or so. I've had it in for about 4 months now and it has worked perfectly. I did double up on the antenna but don't know if this did anything - all I know is it works fine - so I'd recommend it - see the pictures attached

Hey welcome to the site!

Nice install too! I too have seen people do the visors. I also did this to one of my cars, but put it in the headliner between the visors.

At any rate, nice job and it looks good!

(see you have a 6 speed car too, sweet!)

Now go play with your tools!

1998 6-speed Coupe. Z06 exhaust, Z06 sway bars, C6 Z06 Shifter, LS6 Intake Manifold, K&N FIPK, Vararam Velocity Stack, stainless steel brake lines, Borla X pipe, Z06 shocks. SAE Dyno Numbers 330 RWHP/340 RWTQ
