CM Telescoping Wheel and Horn Failure - Related?

2001 Vert stock.

The telescoping wheel switch moves a little bit and then stops and my horn was working intermittently and now has stopped working alltogether. I have an inkling that these two things are related.(?) The horn does work when I set the alarm and I checked the relay and fuse.

There are two codes in the DIC as follows:

B2527H - Horn Relay
B2860H - Telescoping Column Failure

And my mechanic pulled the following code from the onboard computer:

B-3007 DR Deployment Loop Open

The dealer did the column lock fix a couple years ago (pull key wait 10 secs). Is there a part in the steering wheel assembly that could be loose or bad that I should consider? Anything else?

Thanks, in advance for insights.

I don't think they are related. For the telescoping steering wheel, check the connectors under the passenger seat, paying close attention to the blue 7-pin connector there for lose pins/sockets.
