Well I checked all the udders and they were clean. I ran water on the cowl for about 5 minutes and didn't see any leaks. Today it was raining so I let sit out in the driveway uncovered. It appeared to be dry inside the passenger side by the tunnel. When I started it up to check for the revolving DIC messages I got before there were none but my directionals didn't work . This happened that last time it rained and was fine an hour later after sitting in the sun. The BCM and fuse box appeared to be dry. Any ideas where the water would be to effect the directionals? The first time it got wet the DIC would cycle through competive mode on, Traction control off. Thanks in advance Steve

Has any work been done with the dash cover off or under the dash? Connections?

Tonight I checked for water leaks after the second day of rain. All was dry. Fired her up and there were no revolving DIC messages and the directionals worked. I let in run and after about 5 minutes then I lost the directionals. I tried the flashers and they didn't work either at first. After a minute or so they came on and the directionals worked but they were both intermittent. I tapped the dash pad above the button for the flashers and that did cause them to turn off and on. I am thinking that maybe I developed a new problem when I had the leak and thought it was water related. I have heard that the flasher button sometimes goes bad. Maybe that's my issue. It's going to continue to rain so I'll do anther leak check tommorrow. Thanks Steve

| So much on thinking I fixed the leak. One day in the sun and there was so much humidity in the car my glasses fogged up instantly. Condensation was all over the BCM and fuse box. Back to the drawing board I guess.

| Not sure if this is in a different thread you've already posted....but have you checked for a clogged a/c evaporator rubber drain tube located behind the pass. side cyl. head on the engine bay firewall? If it's clogged with debris, it will cause the a/c evap to overflow and drain down inside on top of the fuse panel etc. in the pass. side footwell. Just sayin'!!

| I bet you have leakage around your window seals somewhere. There is a simple and easy window adjustment that can be made to make the glass seal tighter against the rubber seals. I used to have excess wind noise around my drivers window at speed, and tweaked the glass a little which reduced it considerably. Sandwich a dollar bill between the glass and the rubber, then pull it out. Do that all around the window by opening and closing the door with the window up and the buck stuck in there. If it pulls out quite easily, that may be a spot where water is seeping in. I know one guy who had water leak in on the pass. side, like yours, and it was a loose rubber seal in the area by the front of the door itself. Water leaks can be hard to locate. Stay with it.
