CM Gas Mileage

2009 Z06 purchased new. The car now has approximately 13,500 miles on it.

Over the Labor Day weekend I drove from Dallas to Houston and back to Dallas.

At 80mph the instant mileage indicator showed I was gettting 28 miles to the gallon. Does that sound reasonable / accurate?

Thank you,

Richard D. Cadena

I am sure that it is accurate. I have checked onboard computer trip and mileage estimates hundreds of times, and from what I have seen they are dead on within a couple tenths.

talked to a Chevy dealer last year. when I commented on the Z in the garage he told me that it was brand new and he just drove it from Detroit to FLL @ 75-80 and got 27 MPG. FWIW. the car had less than 2K on it.
