CM active handling

Last March I talked wit Paul at Midamerica Motorworks in Effingham, Il. about my cruse control and active handling not working on my 04 conv. He told me to try moving the two controls under the dash till they clicked and then pull on the break pedel till it clicked. I trird this about four or five times and it did not fix the problem. Last week I took it to a Chevy dealer to have them fix it and they told me nothing was wrong. They test drove the car a short distance and nothing happened. Is there something else I can try. Someone said to check the battery which ahs never been changed.
Hope to see you and Funfest again.
Thanks
Dick

Need more info to help.

First cruise control. Are you saying you cannot get it to turn on and hold a speed?

Active handling. Are you saying that when you press the button on the console that you do not get a message on the DIC?

When I set the cruise control it kicks off my itself.
When driving the active handling display shows on the dash and once in awhile the car jerks.

You should check your codes & post here for the cruise.

For active handling that would sound normal, when I drive (AH on) and go thru a drain area from a main road to a secondary road & go a little too "fast" thru the dip and slide a bit the AH will initiate and brake the rear wheel (s) and display on the dic. You may want to read the owners manual on how AH works.

HI there,

We are on the way there, but I would suggest that you have 2 different conditions causing what your are experiencing

My guess is that your code is what may be causing the cruisecontrol to deactivate.

If you will be at Funfest, come find us at Seminar Tent 5.

Allthebest, c4c5
