|  What Is Causing Bell To Ring
Sometimes when opening the door to enter my 06 with the remote transmitter in my pocket, the bell will ring 3 times. This only happens occasionally, but I would like to determin the cause. Thanks again | ||||||||||||||||||||

Are you pushing against the seat memory buttons inadvertantly? or, do you have an extra FOB in the car when you close the door? | ||||||||||||||||||||

This also happens with my C6 and I do not have memory seats. My bell keeps ringing until I get in and close the door.

| my C6 also
My 2009 does ring at times also.It rings 3X and then stops.My Vette is a2009,6 speed stick,with the Z51 package.Mileage 4500 miles.

my 08 when i open the driver door the bell dings till i shut the door. if i am not near the car with the fob it still dings if the door is open

| Eveything is off
As an experiment,I turned everything off.Anything that rings,I shut off. My car rings SOMETIMES when I close fhe door. It is intermitent,and of course when I was at the dealer having my car serviced,it wouldn't do it. Figure it out.I have had 3 Vettes and I am beginning to believe Vettes have a mind of their own.

I was searching for this topic. I just switch to my backup FOB the battery went out on the one I was using. Now my car will ding sometimes when I open the door to get in and sometimes not. Can't figure out why, been reading the manual but could not find anything to help. I have an 08 LT3 with nav. Has anyone found an answer? I have reset all the programmable options to the same as my other FOB I believe.
