Hi there, Bluetooth is within the ONSTAR module. You cannot have one without the other. Allthebest, c4c5 |

HI there, Yes, even if the ONSTAR subscription is out, the control module still works. Its the ONSTAR control module that has the bluetooth. Allthebest, c4c5 |

I heard you can call onstar and when you have it turned off you can request the tracking of information stopped. GIve onstar a call and have them stop tracking your anonyomous (SP)information..

I'm reading on other forums that removing the fuse might disable ONSTAR. Don't know if this is effective, or not. No one said anything about losing Bluetooth capability. They were more concerned with "Big Brother" watching their every move....

Just call onstar up and tell them you don't want your anonymous data collected. The company just made an announcement in the past few days that is all that is needed to stop tracking.
