CM SIR hiccup?

Hello

About C6 2005, LS2 automatic

All of a sudden the airbag warning lamp goes on and stays on.

Connecting a Tech2 reading DTC's: B0051 and B1000.

B1000: (not explained in the service manual) passed last test, only history
B0051: indicates 'Deployment Commanded', although no collision or damage happened to the car. NO airbags went off either.
According to the service manual I should replace the SDM, but as mentioned nothing really happened.
As replacing the SDM is quite expensive ($400) I would like to know what other options are available to cure this systems huccup.

Thanks for any advice, Jan

Lately, mine has been going "on" while the car is loaded up laterally. Then goes off when it unloads. 2006 Z06 (50,500 miles.) Noticed it about 2 months ago. I figure it's a wire moving around.

I my situation, the warning stays on. Unlikely that is a wire moving around.
I want to know if in my case I have to replace the SDM.

Thanks, Jan
