i have a visible defect in the oil pan on my 2008 with less than 10,000 miles that is allowing a oil wetting stain on the pan. it is in the front above the step and my question will epoxy fix this problem or should i get a new oil pan??? i have GM extender warranty so i would guess this would be covered

My advice is bring it in and let them change it. I had the dealership change my oil pan gasket on my 08 coupe with 16k miles. I had noticed the gasket look wet. Thought it might be loose and just need to be tightened. Since I have the extended warranty I asked my local chevy dealer. He changed it, no problems. The old gasket looked like black rubber and this new one is white. All is well.
