I was under the impression that there was some l/r alignment available so that if you had more camber range on one side vs. the other you could shift the cradle & get equal on both. Well the car is in the shop getting front engine cover & oil pan gaskets & I go to the tech to explain this (just in case) and he points out 2 big azz pins that come off the frame that align the cradle & it DID NOT look to me that there was any l/r alignment AT ALL. So what gives, this is on an 04 c5z. Was the 04 different in that regards compared to early c5's? No "guesses" please, just post if you know or have pulled the cradle. Thanks! | ||||||||||||||||||||

HI there, Those pins are for LOCATION of the subframe to the frame rails themselves. Truthfully, there is a slight bit of movement left to right and will allow a bit of slip either way. That is why there are holes to use an alignment bar to center the frame. Allthebest, c4c5 |
