is there a kit from gm like the one for f body ls1 s,whith headbolts/headgaskets/exh-int gaskets.i need to lift my heads for replace the lifters.c5 2002,

| I don't know if there is a "kit" per say but you can simply order everything you need. The cost is around $290.

If you order separate you may consider ARP bolts (the gold standard of fasteners). I don't know where GM is getting theirs these days. :) | ||||||||||||||||||||

| I just ordered everything from the dealer. Going out and searching for this stuff individually turned into a real pain. They did give me wholesale pricing though, for what that's worth.

I'm sure they are good bolts, I just go by what the guys I track with use. The guys that race (Time Trials, T1, scca) use ARP for all replacement fasteners like wheel studs, balancer bolt, head bolts etc. For non race use the GM is more than good enough. I did my 1995 M3 head with ARP and if you just hold one side by side with the stock BMW hardware, it's clear which is higher quality. Some may think that a bolt is a bolt but even that lowly part has quality differences. :) | ||||||||||||||||||||
