I just got my 07 (Z51, 6spd, vert) back from the dealer after they were supposed to fix the fuel level sender. It would give a zero fuel level reading after fill up for the first few miles then it would start to read correctly. I pulled a P2068 code every time this happened. My service manual indicates this is for a left tank sender. The repair order also states code P2068 and says 19207711 SEN KIT 3.107 plus 10337581 PIPE 3.163 were installed. I filled the car with gas the next day (took 15 gallons since I took it in nearly empty to make it easier to pull the tanks). The original problem is gone but now the gauge will only go up to half full when it is really full. Any insight as to what the problem could be? There are no warning messages or check engine lights, I haven’t had time to see if any codes are present. Thanks Tom

Hi there, One of those sending units is NOT registering. I would be looking at the Tech 2 EVAP data to determine which sensor is it. Allthebest, c4c5 |

Thank you for the reply. I pulled the codes and my scanner indicates a P2068 is still present. I have not driven it enough yet to lower the fuel level to see if the gauge starts to respond. I will of course be calling the dealership tomorrow morning. Thanks Again Tom
