'04 C5 Z06--93K, 10k/year car, driven frequently year round but a garage queen. About every third drive or so, I notice a dark ring directly in the center of all four brake rotors, about one inch wide. Some of the ring is soft enough to be wiped off but some of it is more difficult. Take another drive and often the rings disappear. Brakes seem fine but betting they are original, I'm third owner. Suggestions?? Ken | ||||||||||||||||||||

HI there, Im thinking its just brake pad material transfer to the brake rotor. And not something to concern yourself with. Allthebest, c4c5 |
