CM 1993 headlamp motor replacement

Hey Guys, I looked around the website, but couldn't locate a thread on Headlamp Motor Replacement. I just got my first Vette, it's a 1993 Coupe and already my right Headlamp Motor failed. Is it rocket science, or is this something I can replace my self????

I had a 1996 and I never had to fix the HL motors, but if I recall correctly it's a plastic gear that usually wears out. There are better quality (bronze?) gears that can be had from one of the Vette catalog companies and they "may" have directions, of try google c4 headlight gear replacement & you'll get some hits.

I would DIY if you have some tools, unless you are very uncomfortable working on the car.

Do both sides.
