CM C4 1985 4 speed shifter issue

I am not able to put the car in reverse. i removed the shifter, in hopes to just replace it with another shifter, but cant find ANTHING online. I have attached images of the shifter. When i pull up on the lever to allow me to so i cant get it into reverse, put it in reverse, the pin is not raising enough or 50% doesnt raise at all. please see attachments for images of the issue. Any suggestions would be great. Also, it would be great if you can explain how to disassembly the shifter, i cant even get the knob off. I was hoping to just switch out the shifter. Is there any place I can get one? If not, how can i fix it.

Thanks,
Rob

Sadly, the reverse lockout rod is a wear item and not available anyplace. That would be my guess.

Talked to Mike Yaeger about re-popping, but haven't seen it done.
