Question Fuel additive cleaners

What in your opinion is the best "in-tank" additives do the best job of cleaning the fuel injectors, intake valves, combustion chambers ? 1 Chevron,Tech-tron, 2 Seafoam, or STP fuel system cleaner? There's others but I thought I just ask you folks opinion. 2003 Corvette LS1 stock. Thank you !

Fuel injectors would be Techron. BG 44k for carbon build up on intake valves and pistons. These are universally the two best products for cleaning, and most used by professionals that I know. Nothing else that I know of has proven itself over time like those two have. Good luck with it.

I've used the Techron Concentrated "20gal" version for years in all my FI vehicles, inc. my '98 C5. Dump it all in when the tank is near empty.
So far, so good!!

Being that the BG 44 travels through the injectors wouldn't that be enough to clean them instead of using both products?

Yes it certainly does, and it does a very good job.

Bg44k is expensive though (even on e-bay), and if the engine does not have any carbon related issues then Techron is a good choice for fuel sender cards and fuel injector cleaning.

I have used the Techron and the Seafoam and I have to say that the Techron seems to work much better. I have been wanting to try the BG44K - I have yet to hear anything negative about this product.

I drive a 2000 Coupe.

'04 C5 Z06--94K Torch Red Beauty, 3rd owner for 2+ flawless year, it was loved and is loved, old guy, easy driver, what a car!---I've used both Techron and BG as described. I think each used as recommended helps prevent problems as a preventative maintenance plan for the fuel system. Techron was recommended to me by a PE engineer who had built racing engines and didn't like anything. Both are good stuff.
