Yeah I wish but nope, no access through the back side. You can see the star wheel once the rotor is off.

Now go play with your tools!

Oh and the auto adjustment, AKA driving backwards in a parking lot then coming to a stop, did not work for me as I tried this.
The acutal caliper is easy to remove, but it's the caliper bracket bolts that are hard to remove and torque back when finished. Torque is 125ftlbs. They have factory applied red Loctite on them. Some use a steel brush to remove the Loctite, then reuse the factory bolts with new loctite. Others just buy 4 new bolts, but they are pricey!

So are they self adjusting if you brake hard in reverse?

I have looped it on the autox course (many times) and stood on the brakes hard in reverse.

Maybe that's adjusting mine?

Sorry, but no.

Adjusting the parking brakes is much tougher than that. :)

I guess mine was good to begin with. I'm not even sure how a parking brake ever wears, unless you are clueless & drive off with it on.

I know cables stretch, but that's a different adjustment isn't it?

I only use mine on occasion, just leave it in gear in the garage, so it must be like almost new.

There is no cable adjustment like on some cars, but there is this. Funny how all these years I never noticed this. Wonder why its just not like this from the factory, not like this as the procedure implies. Note, I also found this for a 2003 Vette, same procedure.

It seems to just say pull up the lever a few times. Make sure there is no obstruction (pin/zip tie/etc) at the lever. So I guess the CABLE is self adjusting. The shoe on the rear brakes adj as needed with star wheel.
