I have a 2003 Z06 with approximately 24,000 miles on it and the engine has not had any power modifications, it is as it came. I believe it needs a new clutch as the clutch pedal has to come up much farther from the floor before the clutch engages. I plan to have this job performed at the Chevrolet dealership. I plan to replace the following parts with GM parts: 1. The clutch disc. 2. The pressure plate. 3. The slave cylinder. 4. The pilot bearing. 5. The flywheel Am I leaving anything out? Is there any advantage in installing an LS7 clutch? I have no complaints about the LS6 clutch, I would just like to know if the LS7 is better. Would doing so cause any problems? Would the pedal effort or feel be different? Would all of the aforementioned parts be LS7 instead of LS6 parts? I want to have a remote clutch bleeder installed to make bleeding the clutch much easier and cheaper, as the dealer charged me about $250.00 to bleed the clutch. I know that Katech Engineering sells a remote bleeder for the C6 but not the C5. Can anyone recommend a quality bleeder for a C5? Thank you for your help. | ||||||||||||||||||||
