GM applies to trademark ZR-1


Just read in my new "MAY" issue of GM High Tech Performance mag that as of November 6, 2006, GM applied to have the name ZR-1 trademarked. I guessing this will be for the LS9 Vette?!?!?

Well dang. I thought they'd done that back when the ZR-1 was first made. Well, it makes sense. I'd rather they go with ZR-1 than Blue Devil or SS anyday. Stingray would be a worthy name too.

If it does in fact wind up being a ZR-1, the ZR-1 people will rejoice. When the C5 Z06 came out, many ZR-1 owners still thought they had the better car. The C6 Z06 pretty much smashed their egos.
