CM X pipe

I've been running Corsa Pace car mufflers for about 6 months and really like the sound. I installed the Corsa X pipe last week and I'm very pleased with the result. The tone is much deeper and the "motorboat" girgle is gone at idle. It's not cheap as the X will run $325 or so but I think it was well worth the cost. Ron

Good deal! I liked the results when I put my Borla X pipe on too! Sounds nice through all the gears. My GM H pipe had a cracked weld and rattled on rev downs.

However at idle, I really do miss that motor boat sound.

Now go play with your tools!

I had to put an X pipe on my car because my H pipe flanges cracked. I installed the Borla X pipe to match my Stingers. No difference in sound though, at idle, accell, or cruise.

You guys probably won't believe this but I got Headers and an X Pipe for $400.00 shipped!

But back to the subject, I too have the Corsa Indy's (Love em!!) the X Pipe made a significant difference in gurgle and deacceleration popping! For some reason the stock H Pipe has only a 1/2" to 3/4" hole within the 2.5" cross-over pipe and I think that's main reason for the "exoctic" noises the stock system makes...

My .02 anyway.
