Hello: My 71 is kinduv rough, gal I got it from had a lot of stuff jury-rigged. I have a problem with my wiper door being activated from the windshield wiper switch...that doesn't open door. Have a schematic from Corvette America--shows wiper solenoid in back of tach with one inlet and one outlet...took off top dash pad today to get a look because the one that is dangling in there has three trees, (same as after-market item). Now I could see that original one with only two trees??? Is one of the trees a vent? Wrong item? I can get the door to open off of the manual switch. I know that my firewall mounted stop switch is falling apart, and I know I have to get another wiper motor, or at least take this one out and fire it up. Thanks, hope I explained the problem well enuf. tony |
