Hello stingray! I am sure I can help you!

I looked in the GM catalog and did not see it BUT there are hundreds of tools there and I just am not familiar with all those and my DCX stuff too!

Do you happen to have a part number? Usually start with J-#####?

Now go play with your tools!

1998 6-speed Coupe. Z06 exhaust, Z06 sway bars, C6 Z06 Shifter, LS6 Intake Manifold, K&N FIPK, Vararam Velocity Stack, stainless steel brake lines, Borla X pipe, Z06 shocks. SAE Dyno Numbers 330 RWHP/340 RWTQ

Hey ToolGuy - thanks, I'll try and find a part number for it. Problem is I think it's been out of production for many years. Would it still be in the catalog? I think I do remember the PN starting with a J. When I find the part number I'll PM you. Thanks again.:)

It may not be in the cat any more but we may still have it in excess or obsolete inventory. If you cannot come across the part number a description of what it is such as is it an engine tool or a carb tool will help at the very least. Of course part number is best. It also is possible we may have an equilvalent tool.

Now go play with your tools!

Thanks C4C5. I should have been more specific not realizing there are so many applications. I'm looking for one for a Rochester mechanical fuel injection unit like this one, http://jmlckwd.home.mindspring.com/rochester.htm.

I missed one on ebay that is a knock off of the Kent-Moore, a Dwyer Model 400 which went for $71, seems almost too cheap but might work for my needs.

The tool number is on that tool in the pic the problem is the pic is either fuzzy or it is cut off. It appears the tool number ends in a -2. If you can email this person and ask them to read the P/N off the tool that will help me.

Now go play with your tools!

ToolDude - I've made up and sent several email addresses to the guy and they all bounced back except one and there hasn't been a response for a few days now.

On one of those pics I can make out J-7090 and then it's cut off. You say you see something ending in -2. Could the number possible be J-7090-2? I've done several searches and haven't come up with anything leading to the PN.

Thanks all for making efforts on this matter, it's pretty cool.
